Sheol
"Better late than never". It has been a very long time since we launch Dune Awakening, June 10th of 2025. Yes, I took a very long time to gather and share some portfolio for the work I did there, and here starts a serie of work done by me as Senior Lighting artist at Funcom.
During the past years I have been lucky to work on this beautiful survival game. In this case we can have a look at the Sheol region. The particularity of this place is that it is fully radioactive and you need to be fully equipped to be able to explore this region inside Arrakis.
I would like to specially thank Marcin Majocha, Senior FX Artist at Funcom, with whom I had the chance to work closely for this radioactive biome. Working with him, sharing ideas, resulted in us delivering this piece of art for the game. I am very glad for having the opportunity of working with such and amazing artist and wonderful person. I'm always looking forward to work together, so we can come up with cool results combining lighting and vfx.
